I was just THREADED!!

   Merciful Heavens...I just got home from having my face defuzzzzzzed, or Threaded as they call it.  Granted my face is as soft a a baby's bumm now,  but Oh Lordy!!....nobody ever told me my upper and lower lip area would bring tears to my eyes as they were being defuzzzzed..lol 
I will however, return once a month for routine maintenance..lol  Now, my new investment in MAC products better make me look like magazine cover face,Tyra!!!!  (or atleast her mother..lol)
Have a happy face however you can!

Never had it done. I think I'll just stick to waxing...lol

I like getting threaded. (sick, I know) For me it is not as painful as getting waxed. Also, I have psoriasis and my skin is very sensitive. When I get waxed, I stay red for several hours. That doesn't happen with the threading

whoa, you brave soul!  I think that I will just stick to Nair or whatever I use,  Doug laughs at me, says I remind him of his Aunt Bertha!  I just laugh back, because I look good when all that fuzz is gone.  I just don't think I can handle that pain.

I want to try that next.  I get my brows waxed, but my upper lip & chin are too sensitive for waxing.  I've tried it and it makes me red, & causes me to break out in a rash & zits for a week.  SO attractive!  A friend of mine just started the threading, swears by it.

I love having my eyebrows threaded! im actually in need of a thread.

I LOVE getting threaded, yes it hurts...but nothing else gets the same results. I can't handle my upper lip gettting threaded though, I sometimes opt to get that waxed when I'm in a cowardly mood.

You are so brave!  I break out so easy... Can't do any of that stuff.  Facials, waxing, threading.... A tweeze here and there.. and I'm good to go!

Yeah..my sissylala skin just can't handle waxing anymore.  Its spent too much time and abuse (sun, winter, wind etc.) living life..lol The amount of time spent under the thread is about 15 minutes..compared to 30 minutes for waxing.  And the cost was half also!  For my whole face..(I didn't know we had fuzzies on our foreheads..lol) I paid $35.00 not including tip at a place at Victoria Gardens, Rancho Cucamonga called Ziba.  It is around many places in Southern Ca.  I will go prepared for the upper lip trip next time with a coating of lidocaine first..lol
